All the aprons are d-o-n-e!!

And I am one tired little mama!! They looked great and everyone loved them!!

All 8 in a pile....ready to be folded and packed up for their trip.

The guy version. It looks very masculine in real life, just not on a chick dress form. lol

The girl one.

Apron Progress...finally

Well, I finally got some time to devote to cutting and sewing.......Three of these are ready for the machine portion!! The big question: ruffle the bottom or leave it be??

The waist ties are the same polka dot and they will be long enough to tie in the front. I am making a matching pocket....I want it to blend. Hope I have enough left over to make me one too!!!
Ya knooooowwwwwwwww, if I don't ruffle it, it almost wants some yellow dingleballs .......hmmmmmmmmm
Next, the men's aprons - - - times 5.

27 (21) Dresses (aprons)

I should soooooo be working on the wedding dress, but my fitting was moved to Monday and there is only so much you can do without the bride.

LOL time for a little goofing around.

**Not pictured: a blue and white stripe in twill

As you can see, most of my aprons get worn until death us do part! I have lost a couple of plain chef styles and one with olives on it, so I have probably reached the 27 mark if you include my used up ones.

I'm in a swap now.....so number 22 .........  here I come!!!

Hot Mama Chicken swappin aprons

My partner and I got our packages on the same day!! We even got to open them at almost the same time. We both really like our stuff!!
Here's a few pics:

Me and my apron. It makes me look 20 lbs lighter....it's a miracle apron!!!

The rest of my goodies! Do you see it??? That's right!! A Star Trek Chicken Pincushion!!!
Her official title: Jane T. Kluck of the Star Peck Hen-terprise.
Honestly, does it get any better???  She will never have a pin stuck in her...you can bet on it!!!

What I sent.....and who I sent to> She was the maker of all the chickeny goodness that I got!!

If you want some of her skillfully and thoughtfully made items, visit her new etsy shop!!!
(yes, it's a shameless plug, but she has mad skills!)

What I made for her:

Is she not the cutest thing ever in her retina burning apron??

Swapping is addictive and fun...especially when you get a good partner!!!

ps....we used the same dang fabric.....is that cool or what????

Impatient? Me?

Friday was craft night here and with some online buddies. (Karen and Amy) I was up until midnight sewing and chatting.

This was the apron I was working on......three of them!

Front view

Back view.
I really like the criss-cross strappies.
I don't mind the neck kind as long as they don't tie at the back of my neck; it pulls my little neck hairs....can you say: yyeeeeeeeoooouuuccchhh?

Serger accident with apron number three.
FYI: don't serge late at night.
The repair isn't too obvious, but this goes into the "I can't possibly give that to someone" pile.

This apron has a hidden ipod/phone pocket.
I tested it to make sure nothing would fall out since I couldn't find my snaps. Still can't find those little suckers anywhere!

This one is pocketless but I really needed to practice my embroidery skills; they are seriously lacking. :-)

Oops!! Guess the cat is out of the bag!!

Merry Christmas ladies!!!

You're the bomb and a half!
