Week 14ish

 Boy, time flies when you are livin' life. I am glad I have this stitchy little project so I do a little something every day.

Well, Day 100 of stitching happened this past week on April 10th.
I know it's a cliche, but I did a 100 to mark the occasion.

 Treated myself to some new needles.

I plan on using larger perle and all six strands of floss and I am queen of the tiny chenille needles. My favorite is Pony size 25. Love.

Traced this lovely design using Saral wax free tracing paper. 

The tracing worked great. the fabric.....yukko. It must be some kind of poly blend and my hands hurt like the dickens after such a short line of stitching. I am sooooo ditching this and getting a better fabric. So.

Do you have a favorite pair of embroidery scissors? A they more cute than practical or more practical than cute. I am both kinds, but this pair is fab and functional.

Blogging Funk and an Update

Hello all, 

Long time no blog. Have I been busy? Yessssssss  Creating and making? Yeeessssssss 
Blogging? Not so much. Haven't' had tons to say. I am purposely breaking the drought.  

First up, an update to my Nuu Mee post way back  in 2013 .

And now......

As you can see, the fit is a little bit looser. yeah me.  I can't wait until I can buy the next size down but that will be quite some time from now, because of how small their largest size is........some day, she says wistfully. Until then, my nuu muu, my fitbit and me will keep on keeping my innards on the road to good health and my outtards looking kinda cute.

Learned to lace a corset so I don't need help to get in and out of it

Hemmed three bridesmaid dresses

With a helper

Planned and drooled over kitchen ideas at ikea

Changed up my style by going maxi

 Hung out with the hubs along the central California coast

 Visited a new to me quilt shop. They are a fab in person as they are online. maybe even better. awesome

Attended my aunt's 75th b-day party and mini family reunion

At said party, my aunt Allie gave me my grandmother's thimble.  

Won a chili cooked off in a sewmuch2luv apron

 Printed the Eva Dress pattern and had the cat wrinkle it all up before I could cut it out

Earned a fitbit badge or two and watched my flower grow

 

And finally.....learned how to give myself a jammicure with Jamberry nail wraps

And it's only June....what else does summer have in store for me!! Woo hooo, let's get this party started!
