Catching Up.........

I've been pretty busy lately and some of it was even sewing and fun!

I have been trying to get into some kind of groove since my mil moved out here, but I can't seem to get any kind of regular schedule going. With the holidays fast approaching I am just going to have to fit "me time' in whenever I can.

I did fit a little me time in....

Made a few grocery bags for a wedding gift.
I didn't have enough fabric for the cute handles, so straight had to do.
yes, I did cut into my trek stash

Went to Thimblecreek's Fright Night with my friend Lisa .
Not quite as fun as last year's event but Lisa is an avid crafter and craft promoter and I scored a few goodies from her stash.......

A wicker dress form. She couldn't part with it at the Goodwill, but she could part with it to me.
I feel a Steampunky Halloween project coming on.

She gets a lot of things to try and sometimes even extra....I got the extra.
A matching set even.....awe. some.

Denise and I went to the Alden Lane quilt show. It's a cute little show. Apparently our backsides made it on another blog. lol  check us out here   Do your best "Where's Waldo" and find us. lol

We made blocks for some hero's quilts

We even met Sandy Klop of American Jane fame
Me and my autographed bag....it's not my name on that bag....

Group shot!!!
I want her hat.....big time

My humble little purchase.

I even have the pieces sorted and ready for sewing and cutting.

Not as much sewing as I would like, but it's a start.
Less looking at fun and more doing of fun......yep, that's how it's gonna be!!
