Did you? I didn't know if I was supposed to be anonymous or not....so I went with anonymous. Although I have a feeling my neighbor will know it's me.
I put everything in a little bag and hung it on their door knob so the next time they open the door, it will be waiting for them.
I got such a thrill dropping and running!!!! I can honestly say that I love giving more than getting, and trust me, I love to get!!!
There is still time if you want to make a little love and drop it off.
I'm off to add my picture to the flicker group.
FYI...the winner will get an apron just like the one I gave....twinseezes!!
Two loaves of banana nut bread and a neatly folded apron.
The apron! I am loving this fabric combo!!!!
I hope they like everything!!
What a wonderful idea! Well done!
ReplyDeleteIt is a really a nice apron and a nice gesture.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on the thrill of dropping and running. I did that on a friend of mine who was sick with cold and such for weeks. Dropped a box of cookies on the doorstep, rang the bell and ran like a 9 yo. Hid behind the fence and checked that they found it and then I ran again and hid in case they came out and looked down the road. It was so much fun!
Seriously adorable! (just like you :)
ReplyDeleteI don't even own an apron? It's about time I get one. You should come and enter my Vanilla Bean Paste giveaway http://eatcakefordinner.blogspot.com/2011/11/vanilla-bean-paste-giveaway.html
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice surprise for your neighbor! I did it too though I didn't take pictures. I made an apron for a co-worker and packaged it up with some of my homemade zucchini relish. It's fun to give!
