Star Trek and the Deep Blue Sea

I have a blog buddy, an AWESOME, sick, twisted blog buddy. And I say that with love because she keeps coming up with all kinds of ways to feed my addiction;
Hello, my name is Regena and I am a trekkie.

You see, she made these little octopuses for her grandbaby girls.  She was a tad disappointed when I kept pointing out that I did not care for the the sea creatures. I am not, nor have I ever been, a warm and cuddly type of person. This ''thing' qualifies as both warm and cuddly...ew...just saying.
That smile, those rosy cheeks, a pink bow...........wrong, all wrong!!!
I know, I know....something must be wrong right with me.
I know you see where I'm going here..................................

She tweaked the pattern.....ever so .............. and created total awesomeness!

No more rosy cheeks and a cheeky smile.....noooooosireebob

The bow........gone!!!

Pink?? Gone, allllllllllllll gone!!

Instead we have golden rick rack, cadet blueness, sideburns and eyebrows that have an aristocratic air!

Drum roll please.....................(rattatatt tat and a bip bap boom)

May I present to you:

                    Mr. Spocktopus

I have no words.
He will be among the greats......spockookie, jane t.cluck, trek peeps, stockings
It isn't logical, but I just can't get enough!!

You can visit her blog: http://sewmuch2luv.blogspot.com/

I have it on good authority that there just my be a Spocktopus showing up there any day now.
It's already full of aprons, bags, felty goodness and all kinds of fun stuff....take a gander.

  1. Thanks for the linkies :) I have to admit, he has grown on me a bit. I'm glad you like him and he can keep Jane company! Lovin the pink polka dots on your background too! Very girly! Is it a nod to my new Sofie?
