Well, my apron is finally done! I fussed with the skirt design forever, only to come back to my original sketch. Let this be a lesson to you.......go with your gut!!  Hopefully, I learned the lesson.
My camera is having focus issues.....please forgive it. Guess I'll be doing a really good lens cleaning tomorrow.

Oops! I did it again!!

I joined another apron swap. this one has a fab theme and the gals that usually sign up for it are a hoot!

It's  sickness, I know. But I could be addicted to much worse, right?

Now what do I do?

Okay, I have a problem. I pulled all the bright fabric off in the order I was going to sew it and the only thing on the dressform was the base fabric. Part of me just wants to make a matching ruffle with the orange fabric with the cat lace, trim it out in black and leave it all sexy. Gee whiz!!! Love the bright, but the sexy look is really growing on me !
As Karen would say; I need a waaaaa-mubulance. Cuz I am a whinin' and a fussin' and I was almost done.

Kitchen Fashion for the Halloweeniday

• The awesome skeleton fabric is for moi!! Love it times two and it is a medium weight twill so it will make a great apron. Plain and simple, but that's all you need with that fabric. 
•  The other 7 flavors are for the FAS 12 Halloween apron swap. Not sure what I am making but I think a massive amount of ruffleage will be involved!

Just started playing with layout and the fabric. Not sure how it will end up, but this is just the first pinning.

Do I like this or do I like that?
Don'tcha just LOVE trying to answer all those questions?

Alice in Wonderland Apron Swap

 

My next distraction is an apron swap. I am making one based on the red queen's dress in the Tim Burton version. Haven't quite decided on how the bodice will look, but something corsety and graphic. Not sure about the bling. It IS and apron and I want the person getting it to use it but bling doesn't wash so easy. This is a challenge I am totally up for!!!
