Have a Happy Harry Potter Weekend!

My kids, circa 1998 or 9, before you could get anything Potter in stores!
Even the doll had a little cauldron to carry.
(now they are 19 1/2 and 16 1/2...where does the time go?)

  1. Awesome, awesome, AWESOME!

We were at the movie this morning! My thirteen year old had her (storebought) Ravenclaw t-shirt on with her butterbeer cork necklace and radish earrings (both made by me) and her spectrospecs. Unfortunately, her wand was either stolen from my bag or somehow managed to fall out (which I doubt), but she was all decked out. My 17 year old had her Deathly Hallows necklace on and her and I were both wearing our golden snitch earrings (also made by me). Believe it or not, we were not the 'geekiest' people there! I think that prize goes out to the guy dressed as a Death Eater, he looked fantastic!
Will/did your kids dress up for the movie?

  4. I love her! I've been through a lot of your blog, and I have seen your sewing. If you made the robe then I know it is gorgeous.
